TMTB Morning Wrap
Good morning. QQQs -1.4% as arkets react to events in the Iran over the weekend as Oil is up 8%. Airstrikes from US and Isarel continue while Iran retaliates with missle strikes throughout the region including Dubai. Trump has said Iran has agreed to talk although it seems Iran has denied those headlines. Europe was down 150-200bps with underperformance in travel/leisure, autos, luxury, tech, banks, media, and retail. Asis mainly red: TPX -1.02%, NKY -1.35%, Hang Seng -2.14%, HSCEI -1.78%, SHCOMP +0.47%, Shenzhen -0.68%, Taiwan TAIEX -0.9%.
BTC flattish. Yields up 5-6 bps across the curve. PLTR and Optical (NVDA investment in LITE and COHR) in the green today.
Away from that, we get started with MS TMT conference at the Palace Hotel in SF today, the biggest and most well attended of the year. Pretty great line up including key notes from Dario, Satya and Jensen. Full line up here:
