Good afternoon. Strong day as QQQs +2.5% finished at thighs led by semis +4.2% and internet +3.1% as US equities followed Japan’s overnight gains. In terms of factors, non profitable tech rallied as TMT momentum stalled. QQQs now dn only 8% from highs and sitting on 20d. Vital knowledge recaps the macro: “Treasuries spiked in large part because of the cooler PPI but also the more cautious consumer message delivered by Home Depot. Yields tumbled 4-7bp. The market is pricing in ~40bp worth of Fed cuts on 9/18 and 108bps for the year.”
