META thoughts into tonight

I’ll keep it simple: leaning long into the print. Don’t see any reason to trim LT positions as META continues to be one of our favorite compounders and think the r/r at or under $500 is still very favorable.

Here’s my view on the set-up: I think everyone expects the q to be good, but there are fears around guide and 2H decel as comps get tougher. If they guide a little wider or just in line with the street after a beat, maybe stock sell off to 475, so what?  Previews already calling out a decel - is a beat and guide in line in any way thesis changing or does the r/r just become more attractive? It’s crowded, but only think fast money sells in that scenario...however, if they put up high 20s/30% growth on a 7pt tougher comp thats a 4-5pt accel.  Why wouldn't that mean they put up another 4- pt accel to low to mid 30s in Q2 on another 7-8 pts tougher comp (street at 20%).  Then all these decel fears everyone talking about will be mute and buyside will go to 25%+ growth in Fy24 and w…
