Happy Sunday! It’s been an exciting couple weeks of earnings and we have another busy one ahead of us before things begin to slow down. Today, we’ll cover some misc thoughts then dive straight into previews for this week’s earnings. We’ll have our sector positioning/sentiment round-up next week once earnings have wound down.

Thoughts after the last week

  • Macro: Last week we talked about getting more constructive on the QQQs vs. our “high-alert” stance since Mid-March; however, we don’t think we are going back to the easy money days of late ‘23 and early ‘24. The macro picture remains far from straightforward although yields bottoming and oil ticking down have added some fuel for the bulls. We think VitalKnowledge laid out the debate well this weekend:
